Little Bunnies

February 2022

Hello Bunnies Families!

Excitement filled the air as the bunnies shared their Valentines with friends. They have been finding their voices and using their words more often. It is great to see how much our bunnies are growing.

In February we had a roaring time with our Dinosaur and Valentine themes. Our virtue was sharing, we learned about different things we can share with friends and family. We also had fun learning about the number six, hearts and the color purple.

Our nursery rhyme for the month is:

Old Mother Hubbard
Old mother Hubbard
Went to the cupboard
To get her por dog a bone.
When she went there
Her cupboard was bare
And so her poor dog had none.

This month we read many books including Three Little Dinosaurs by Charles Fuge and learned that not all dinosaurs can fly but they can still have fun with friends. Fun fact: We learned that dinosaurs hatch from eggs. We also read Groovy Joe Ice Cream & Dinosaurs by Eric Litwin, a story about a dog who shares ice cream with dinosaurs until he runs out then they turn the ice cream carton into a drum.

We hope you are all staying healthy!
