Little Bears

November 2021

Posted on

November was filled with Ocean Life and Thanksgiving fun! We enjoyed taking a trip under water and making our own ocean life in our classroom. We learned that dolphins are not a fish, sharks can weigh as much as a car, fish use gills to breathe, and most sea stars have five arms. We also made placemats for Thanksgiving dinner, gobbled like a turkey as we recited the “Five Little Turkeys” poem. Some of the books we read in November were “Bear says Thanks”, “Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks”, “The Pout-Pout Fish,” “Commotion Under the Ocean”, ”Hooray for Fish”,  and “Mister Seahorse.”

Our color was brown and our shape was triangle.  Our letters for the month of November were H, I, and J, and our virtue was “Thankful”

Five Little Turkeys

5 little turkeys standing at the door.
1 waddle off and then there were four.
4 little turkeys sitting near a tree.
1 waddle off and then there were three.
3 little turkeys with nothing to do.
1 waddle off and then there were two.
2 little turkeys in the morning sun.
1 waddle off then there were one.
1 little turkey better run away,
For soon it will be Thanksgiving Day!
In the month of December our theme will be “Christmas”

Blessings!!
