Little Bunnies

March 2022

Hello Bunnies Families!

The Bunnies have been working hard on using their words both with their friends and teachers. They have learned to ask a teacher for help, when they need help with a friend, to open a lunch item, or simply need a tissue.

In March we had a great time with our St. Patrick’s Day, Community Helpers and Transportation themes. A fun fact we learned is painters are people who paint houses or walls and artists paint pictures on canvas, paper, or walls (murals).

We also celebrated Colors and Community during our Week of the Young Child. Our virtue was being kind, we learned about ways we can show kindness to one another, by offering a toy or checking on a sad friend.

We also had fun learning about the number seven, ovals and the color green.

Our nursery rhyme for the month is:

Jack Be Nimble

Jack be nimble

Jack be quick

Jack jump over

The candlestick.

This month we read many books including My Community! By 123 Andres and learned about different people in our community. We also read Three Cheers for Kid McGear! by Sherri Duskey Rinker and Ag Ford, a story about a little skid steer that is told he is too small to help but comes to the rescue when the big equipment gets stuck.

We hope you are all staying healthy!
Teacher Teresita, Teacher Bettina, and Teacher Ruth
