December 10, 2017 – Prepare – Mark 1: 1-8

The world around us started preparing for Christmas before Halloween was close to over. Thanksgiving seemed like an afterthought with all of the pre, pre, pre Black Friday sales and all of the early decorating. As Christians, it would seem we should rejoice because Christmas is the birth of Jesus and people seem to be celebrating longer. However, Christmas needs to be about Jesus and our preparation needs to be about sharing the message of Jesus. How can we prepare in a way which mirrors the Light of Christ to our world?
