Be Blameless

Feb 25, 2018

Preacher: Jon Coyne

Summary:

Genesis 17: 1-7, 15-16 God tells Abram, when he is 99 years old, that he will become exceedingly numerous and the ancestor of a multitude of nations! However, before stating these seemingly impossible facts, God says to Abram, “walk before me, and be blameless”. The reality is that none of this is possible for Abram to do on his own. Yet, somehow we think that the people around us are supposed to reach a place of sanctification where they will be blameless. The message of the Gospel is that God makes us blameless even as we keep falling into sin.
