How online giving works

You can transfer money directly from your checking account or a credit card account to the church account. You can also set up online giving for a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly contribution. It’s fast, safe, simple, and doesn't cost you anything. We will issue you a donation statement for your tax records, and the transfer will show up on your bank and/or credit card statements. Donations can be made to the church, missions, or preschool. For more information, please click on any of our FAQs on this page.

Is Online Giving safe?

Yes. Online Giving meets the highest banking-level security standards. When you manage your own account information, you're in control. You’ll always be certain that your gifts are direct-deposited into Bethany’s account.

What are the advantages of Online Giving?

It makes it easy to give, even when you are unable to attend church. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. Giving electronically also helps the church save money and plan its budget.

Can i designate my gift to a particular fund?

Yes, you can designate your gift to go toward the General Budget, Care for Cameroon, or McDonald's Church. We may also add additional funds at specific times.

What types of accounts can I give from?

You can give online from your checking account, Visa, or MasterCard. A debit/check card from Visa and MasterCard can be used, but true debit cards are not accepted.

Are there any fees involved with giving online?

Not for you, but the church does incur a small percentage (2.5%) fee for credit cards. If you would like to offset this fee, you can give an additional percent.

CAN I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR THE FREQUENCY and amount OF MY GIFT?

Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time before the date of your next contribution. Simply log in to the system with your login information and make the necessary changes in the system.

if I forget my username or password, can bethany find it for me?

No, we cannot access account information. Once an account is established, it is your responsibility to know your username and password.

How can I prove that I made my contribution?

Your bank/credit card statement and the Online Giving system both provide reports that document your electronic transactions.

If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?

Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions are recorded for you on your bank statements, as well was your online reports.

Do I have to be a Bethany member to give?

No. Both members and visitors can make donations.
